Fall Break Reminder!
There will be NO SCHOOL November 24th–28th as we enjoy Fall Break. We hope our Apollo families have a safe, relaxing, and fun week!

🛼✨ Skating Fun in PE! ✨🛼
Our students have been rolling, gliding, and smiling their way through our annual skating unit in PE! This is always a highlight of the year, and such a great way for kids to build balance, confidence, and coordination while having tons of fun.
A huge thank you to our amazing Apollo PTO for covering the skate rental cost from Carousel Skate Center each year. Your support helps create memorable learning experiences for our students, and we’re so grateful! 💙🙌

🌟 Happy World Kindness Day from Mrs. Meyers’ 4th Grade Class! 🌟
We’ve been celebrating all week with the Character Strong Kindness Challenge, and these kids have absolutely risen to the occasion!
Day 1: Students gave three genuine compliments to a classmate.
Day 2: Everyone wrote a heartfelt thank-you note to a teacher or staff member.
Day 3: Our challenge was to help a classmate with an assignment or homework. I tied this into math, and the kids worked in groups as we kicked off our problem-solving unit. They did an amazing job lifting each other up and showing what teamwork is all about.
I’m so proud of the kindness, encouragement, and empathy these students have shown. Here are a few pictures from our week… 💕✨💙

📚✨ The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Apollo! ✨📚
The excitement is REAL!!! 💙
Students will preview the fair on October 9th & 10th, and shopping begins October 13th–14th during their library time. Families can also shop during Parent-Teacher Conferences, with the fair wrapping up on Thursday, October 16th at 6:30 PM.
It’s the perfect time to stock up on great books and support our school library!

All profits go to support our amazing Apollo PTO, who make so many great things happen for our students and staff! 💙
