Please help us welcome Mr. C back to Apollo! Mr. C is fortunate to call the Goddard community his home. His wife, Emily, teaches at Explorer Elementary School and together they have a 1 & 1/2-year-old daughter, Kenlee. After attending Wichita State University, Mr. C started his career teaching Kindergarten right here at Apollo. During this time, he was nominated for the Kansas Horizon Award, named a Kansas Teacher of the Year Semi-Finalist, and co-created the Summer Learning program, KindePrep. Following his time in Kindergarten, Mr. C spent one-year teaching 3rd-Grade at Apollo before transitioning into administration. He spent one year as the Assistant Principal at Vermillion Elementary School in Maize.
Mr. C said, "I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to return home. It is truly a dream come true. During my time in Goddard, and specifically at Apollo, I created some very special bonds and relationships with students, staff, and families. I look forward to continuing to develop those relationships and forging new connections with all of our Apollo families and the greater Goddard community!"
